Youth Summer Camps

Gandhi Nidhi Chhatarpur have a transformative camp aimed at school children who had limited opportunities to experience rural living. This 30day long summer camp helps children immerse themselves in the new natural lifestyle. These camps attract between 175 and 200 children, on a month-long program provided a rich array of activities designed to foster moral, spiritual, physical, and intellectual development—areas often overlooked in modern education systems.

A Holistic Approach to Child Development

The camp featured a diverse curriculum that included:

⦁ Hindustani Classical Music and Dance: Introducing children to the rich cultural heritage of India.
⦁ Visual Arts: Activities such as painting, drawing, and cartoon making encouraged creativity and self-expression.
⦁ Clay Modelling: Hands-on experiences that developed fine motor skills and artistic abilities.
⦁ Drama and Cooperative Games: Promoting teamwork, communication skills, and confidence through engaging performances and collaborative play.
⦁ Basic farming: Promoting ideals of teamwork, comradery and hands-on experiences on farm, plants and natural living.
